Yesterday Handyman Harry and I spent some time hanging out with The Crab, at Crabby's. Meris, don't you think your Dad should get that 'Don't worry be Crabby' Tshirt? Harry isn't really crabby, but he has moments where he tries to show potential:-).

Oh my gosh! A gecko got into my red paint!

This is a completely unaltered photo. I was working on my mural and the gecko was just hanging out with me. I thought he was cute and then he stuck his lips in my red paint! THEN he stuck around for the photo. I couldn't believe it when he let my camera get so close (I don't have a zoom). He probably thought 'they'll never believe it anyway'.

Travellers Palm

A Travellers Palm grows in our backyard and I love it for it's shade and it's beautiful patterns. It acquired its' name because it collects water at the top and the water runs downs these little funnels into a water filled trunk.
