"Relax, Jobey. Live for today. There's no way the weather is going to be this good tomorrow."

"Bromley?"
"Yes, Lambo.."
"What did you put in my drink?!"

"It's time for the weather Bromley."
"Whatever Jobey..."
"What's the matter?"
"It's raining again! No one is going to come to Cape Cod when it's raining, Jobey!"
"Oh. Then I think you should lie."
"Lie!?? What about my 100% accuracy?"
"They should just be glad we got up early."

"Good morning, my Baa Buddies! Time for the weather"

"This is Bromley reporting to you from Baa Baa Land. Today will be sunny, in the 80s with a nice gentle breeze drifting off the ocean. A wonderful beach day!"

"That doesn't sound right, sweetie."

"Don't worry about it."

Uncle Eddie's World of gardens, castles and fairies

Today Jason, the little Munchkins (Baa Brothers), my friend, Barbara, and I went to see our friend Eddie Foisy (Uncle Eddie) right here on Cape Cod in Harwich. Uncle Eddie really may have the most magical garden in the world. He works all by himself with no help at all. Or possibly, the fairies help him. It's impossible that he has done this by himself, so the only reasonable explanation is that fairies helped him.

Eddie has animals too and you can see a relative of the Baa Brothers in the circle of the goddess' arms.

We take a little break and try a couple of Eddie's 1999 brews. One was made of nettles and the other lemon balm. They are surprisingly wonderful!

Bromley ate so much that when we arrived home he got stuck between the Baa house and the fence. A few of us had to lift and move the house to get him out. Just like Winnie the Pooh and the honey!

Merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream....

I took this picture of my friend, Dawn, in the backyard of Holly House. It is a mystery to us. A couple of people have told us they KNOW what is going on here - One person tells us that we have been visited by wonderful spirits (Orbs). Another says she is certain it is moisture in the air..... I think it is a magical picture of my friend Dawn. That is what I know. And if anyone would be visited by angels or good spirits, it would be Dawn. I love the picture.
And below is my note to myself. I type up these little poems or notes when I think of them on little 3 x5 cards and put them in a box. I don't know why I do that either. I don't know much, do I? :-) Maybe I should have titled this post 'Ignorance is Bliss'.

'We guess
Our perspective on the world is so small and narrow that in an attempt to get a complete picture, we guess. We guess at what everyone is thinking, we guess at the future which alters the look of the present, we guess about the health of our bodies, we guess at how others see us, we guess what our pets are thinking and how they are feeling. Our memories are skewed and our perspective of how our life is now compared to our past is skewed. Sometimes when we think we are living, we are dying and when we think we are dying, we are living. Probably when we think we are rich, we are poor and when we think we are poor, we are really rich. Then there are those times when we are afraid, but we are not in danger and there are those times when we really are in danger and we are not afraid. So, I will enjoy and live and be grateful for every day as if it is a good book or a work of art.'

Saturday Farm and the Baa Brothers

Saturday Farm
Good morning! This is a picture of Saturday Farm, a house we love and care for and rent to vacationers in the summer months ( www.vrbo.com/164673 ). We live in another magical house that Handyman Harry built on the other end of the property. I'll tell you about it one day, but our energy still orbits this wonderful Saturday Farm house. This year we adopted two lambs that graze on the property. We chose a small, ancient, gentle breed of Babydoll Southdown Sheep that we call the Baa Brothers - Bromley and Jobey. I asked them to pose for me today. Jobey loves the camera; he comes right over when he hears it clicking. They are therapy lambs - good for the spirit; they've been to a nursing home several times and they have a couple of play dates coming up with children of the Harwich Junior Theatre.
We work hard here and long hours; but, yes, we do live a happy Saturday life!
